Deep plane facelift — surgical specialisation
Dr. Zereyak's practice is built around facial plastic surgery, with particular depth in the deep plane and composite facelift techniques. These procedures require an understanding of facial anatomy at the sub-SMAS level — specifically the retaining ligament system that connects the SMAS to the facial skeleton.
Releasing these ligaments — the zygomatic, masseteric, and mandibular retaining ligaments — allows the entire facial composite to be repositioned as a unified structure. This is the anatomical basis that differentiates deep plane surgery from all other facelift techniques, and it is the reason that results are more natural and longer-lasting.
