What to expect from your results

Deep plane facelift results develop gradually over 6–12 months as swelling resolves and tissues settle. The photographs shown represent patients at 5–12 months post-operative — the point at which results are representative of long-term outcome.

Early photographs (weeks 2–6) show significant swelling that does not reflect the final result. We recommend patients evaluate before/after photography taken at minimum 3 months post-operative when assessing any surgeon's work.

Results typically last 12–15 years. Natural aging continues after surgery, but patients consistently appear younger than they would have without the procedure.
